Coaching


  • Will you be my primary care doctor or give me medical advice?

    No. Although I am a physician, I will not be your physician in any capacity. I will not provide any medical advice and all services provided are for coaching purposes only to empower & support you on your wellness journey.

  • What is lifestyle & wellness coaching? And what can I expect?

    The foundation of coaching with Coach Simran is rooted in an evidence-based lifestyle & wellness approach, where the client’s needs come first! Clients will be guided in a personalized coaching experience through visioning, goal setting, exploring mindset shifts & accountability to support them in creating a sustainable lifestyle transformation.

  • Should I tell my doctor I am working with you?

    Absolutely! Anytime you are working with someone to improve your wellbeing whether it be a wellness coach, or you are getting other complementary treatments, you should always make your primary medical team aware. If you have underlying medical conditions, you will need to get a medical clearance form completed by your primary care provider. If your provider would like to speak to me, I would be happy to speak with them!

  • Do you only work with people at risk for cancer?

    Women with genetic mutations at high risk for cancer are close to my heart because I am one of them. However, according to the World Health Organization, 80% of chronic illnesses like heart disease and 40% of cancers could be prevented, primarily with improvements to diet and lifestyle. Also, it’s important to remember most of these conditions are not hereditary. 


    If we are the right fit for each other, I am happy to work with anyone looking to create a lifestyle that allows them to reach their true potential!

  • Do I have to be plant-based to work with you?

    No, you do not have to be 100% plant based or vegan. A plant powered; minimally processed eating pattern has been shown to have significant health benefits but there is no one size fits all. Through the coaching experience, the goal is always to meet you where you are at and support you to get where you want to be!

  • What is a clarity call?

    A clarity call gives us the chance to get to know each other. It allows me to get a better idea of what you’re hoping for so I can guide you to the best services I can offer you that will help you crush your wellness goals.

  • What is a membership? What if I don’t want a membership?

    Memberships are for clients ready to commit to a 1-, 3- or 6-month immersive coaching experience with all the added bonuses & cost savings, including the plant powered meal planning experience. You can also schedule a la carte services – initial coaching session, follow up coaching sessions as well as other services. You can check out the different offerings in the coaching tab under Offerings.

  • Will I be guaranteed results?

    I cannot predict or guarantee that clients will achieve a particular result. Success & outcomes from the coaching process primarily depends on the client’s own self-motivation, effort, and commitment to the process. Individual results can depend on many factors.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    *New clients have up to 48 hours to receive a full refund if services have not yet been rendered. Refunds will not be offered, under any circumstance, for any of the a la carte or membership coaching services.

  • Do you take insurance?

    Insurance is not accepted at this time. Payment for all services is made by credit card or Venmo only.

  • Can you take international clients?

    Absolutely! Since all the offerings are virtual, you can be anywhere in the world!

  • Who should take this course?

    This course is for anyone who wants to learn about the evidence-based power of plant-based nutrition while also getting actionable steps on transitioning to making it a sustainable lifestyle. Whether your goal is simply to add more plants to your plate or go fully plant based, this course will give you the core principles and a weekly meal planning guide to get you well on your way!!

  • What do I get with the course? How long will it take me to finish?

    This is a 4-week self-paced course. Each week will incorporate a weekly nutrition lesson, culinary lesson, customizable digital meal plan, grocery lists, workbook integration & knowledge assessments!

  • Once enrolled, how do I get access and where do I take the course?

    This is a fully virtual experience. You will be asked to create a free Healthie account which is where the course is held. You can take the course from anywhere, on any smart device or computer that has internet access.

  • Can we work together after I finish the course?

    Absolutely! Check out the coaching experiences available under the Offering tabs in the menu above.

  • Can I continue the plant powered meal planning services after the course?

    Yes, for sure. Check out the meal planning experience options available under the Offering tabs in the menu above.
